Danica’s main goal when leading a class is to allow each practitioner to drop in, to truly experience their body. With a passion for safely inhabiting each pose Danica works each posture from the ground up, clear cues and proper alignment are key. Attention to the connection between mind, body, and breath will leave you grounded. Each class is a extension of her own practice and she is thrilled to be able to share her passion with you!

How Yoga Serves Danica

Yoga has been a transformative journey for Danica, allowing her the skills to quiet the mind and feel the body. Within the time on the mat in and out of asanas and meditation it has become a time that is truly sacred, a essential part of each day. With the inherit need to be of service to others she is extremely grateful to have skills and knowledge to share with those looking to deepen their self-awareness, and ability.

Background


Originally from Northern California Danica came to Santa Barbara to study Social and Behavioral Science. Shortly after moving here she found a local studio and saw that they were offering a Teacher Training, feeling a strong pull towards yes she decided to sign up. Since completing her Teacher Training Danica went on to Study Massage Therapy, the combination have shown to be extremely effective in helping those around her. She is forever grateful for the opportunities Santa Barbara has provided for her.
