Always an avid gym rat, runner and athlete, Garth first discovered yoga in spring 2011 while living abroad. He was hooked after his first class and welcomed the stability it offered while making the transition stateside after 9 years of living in Sweden. Since then he has experimented with a variety of yoga styles and studios and finally decided to enroll in a 200 hour teacher training in spring 2014. Garth completed his teacher training shortly thereafter and is thrilled to continue spreading his love of yoga and its benefits to the community.
Garth enjoys teaching challenging yet accessible Vinyasa flows that use a mix of humor, eclectic tunes and sweat to help push students beyond their limits.
How Yoga Serves Garth
Yoga has given Garth a mental, physical and emotional balance that permeates all areas of his life. In addition to this, yoga has also exposed him to a fantastic yoga community full of unique, inspiring and diverse people.
